The North Posey Marching Vikings. The band. The ultimate group of musicians, friends, teachers, and instructors. Eight time State Finalists (as of 2008) and aiming to keep the numbers growing.

We are under the direction of Scott Schmitt and assitant director Matthew Carnagua. Percussion instructors Nathan Embrey and Kayla Brenton. Guard instructors Meghann Kulenkamp and Brittni Ellis.Other staff include Nathan Winstead , Derek Winstead and Craig Ghnomes.

"The band" this year consist of 49 awesome band members including 13 Percussion, 28 Winds, and 7 Guard.

This year's marching show is called "Rhythm and Rhyme". The music is by William Pitts. Percussion music is written by Colin McNutt. Drill is written by Dwight Emmert.

We also have a winter drumline. They have been a state finalist twice.

We also have an amazing winter guard who has also been to state finals three times and were state champions in 2003.
